With the MET Gala passing, Lizzo recalled her first experience in 2022.

Lizzo hit Instagram Live to describe her experience at the MET Gala.

“There’s a long f___ing line. I’m taking the glamour away from it, but it’s true. So you’re waiting, and that’s the hardest part. I was sweating in a big-ass coat, my feet were hurting, and they don’t have no chairs, no cocktails. I was like, ‘Bi__h? Can we get some chairs, or some drinks, or some hors d’oeuvres?”

Lizzo revealed that the servers were stingy with the liquor and her disappointment at only red and white wine being offered. 

“He was like, ‘Red or white wine?” said Lizzo of the waiter. ‘And I was like, “Tequila!”

Do you know what I’ve been through?

Do you know how many hours I’ve been in this corset?

How long I’ve been in these damn shoes? Tequila!”
