In a recent revelation, Eve shared a story from her new memoir, “Who’s That Girl?” about how Janet Jackson saved her life at a 2007 MTV Video Music Awards afterparty.

Eve recounted how Janet came to her aid after suspecting her drink had been spiked, providing her with a concoction that helped calm her down.

“I had never met her before, and so her first introduction to me was seeing me hysterical. None of that mattered to Janet,” Eve added. “She actually just sprang into action and told people to get aspirin, water, hot sauce, and a piece of white bread. That concoction knocked me right out of my hysteria.”

Despite it being their first meeting, Janet’s quick action and care left a lasting impact on Eve, who credits the singing icon with saving her life.
