OutKast Gets A Statue After Their 25th Anniversary for ‘Aquemini’

OutKast Honored ‘Aquemini’ on the 25th Anniversary with Hip Hop 50 Statue as they have been immortalized with the statue.

On Thursday, Steven “Concrete Jungle” Cartoccio who is a sculptor and animator was in a partnership with Mass Appeal and the Atlanta duo, where they unveiled the limited-edition collectible on insta.

The statue “incorporates elements from all of OutKast’s classic albums and features two replaceable heads” for Big Boi and André 3000.

The 15 pound figure depicts 3 stacks and a Daddy Fat Sax styled where they are on top of a spacecraft. Under that is a purple Cadillac, the OutKast logo and a graffiti-tagged I-75 highway sign where it leads to their home ATL.

The statue will be available for release mid 2024 but can pre-order it. They have 2 versions of the model being one auto graphed by both André 3000 and Big Boi which runs you $750 and a unsigned version that sits at $550.
