Martin Lawrence, Tisha Campbell, Tichina Arnold and Carl Anthony Payne II got back to together Monday, January 16, to present the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series at the ceremony.

The cast appeared on a recreated Martin set with a skit centered around the show never receiving an Emmy win during its 1994-1997 run.

“We’re finally about to get an Emmy! Yeah, we’re getting our Emmy tonight!” Carl Anthony Payne II joked. “Matter of fact, I got my speech on deck too.”

Thouh the show never received an Emmy, it did win a People’s Choice Award and multiple NAACP Image Awards.

The cast, minus the late Thomas Mikal Ford, went on to award the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series to Jeremy Allen White in The Bear.
