Wesley Snipes has broken two Guinness World Records with his cameos in Deadpool and Wolverine. He reprised his role as “Blade” 25 years after his first appearance in the character.

This makes him the actor with the longest career as a Marvel character. The film also marks the longest gap between character appearances in Marvel films.

The third film in the Deadpool franchise features several cameos by characters from before the Marvel Cinematic Universe days.

Despite mixed reviews, the film has broken records at the box office, collecting $205 million in its opening weekend in North America.
