Uncle Luke, the pioneering Miami rapper from 2 Live Crew, recently shared his thoughts on the current state of rap, criticizing male rappers and praising the dominance of female artists like Megan Thee Stallion.

He did, however, have a bone to pick with the ladies by calling out female rappers for not sending him a check for their success using his music.

“Male rap is on some bullst right now,” Uncle Luke stated bluntly. “The females are winning. They’re doing everything that I did. I’m still waiting for these girls to send me a f*ing check.”

He continued, “I need a check from Ice Spice who turns her a** around. Dropping it like it’s hot and doo-doo browning. I need a check from her, I need a check from Sexyy Red… Megan Thee Stallion, anybody that’s running around shaking their aes, talking about py and d*k on the record, y’all need to send me a check.”

Despite his controversial opinions, Uncle Luke maintains his stance of the importance of freedom of expression in the music industry.
