Wendy Williams is speaking out about her condition after her frontotemporal dementia diagnosis, emphasizing that she is not cognitively impaired or permanently incapacitated.
During an interview on The Breakfast Club, Wendy described her current situation as a “luxury prison” where she is confined 24 hours a day and under conservatorship, unable to leave her location.
Wendy’s niece, Alex Finnie, revealed that the facility where Wendy is staying is highly secured, her phone has been confiscated, and her movements and communications are controlled by her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey.
Williams expressed frustration with the system she is under, calling it “broken” and accusing those in charge of mistreating her.
Wendy’s niece urged listeners to use hashtags like “#FreeWendy” to raise awareness and ensure Wendy can live her life with dignity.
